Shipping Information
CompuPoint ships orders across Canada using secure, reliable carriers. All orders must be paid in full before shipment. Once shipped, customers receive an automated email confirmation with tracking details (where applicable).
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment approval. Processing times may vary based on order verification, carrier availability, or warehouse volume.
Orders are not processed on weekends or statutory holidays.
Shipping Methods
CompuPoint ships orders using major Canadian carriers, including:
- FedEx
- UPS
- Purolator
- Canada Post
CompuPoint may select the carrier best suited for the shipment.
All orders are shipped using standard ground service:
- Ontario: 1–2 business days
- Other provinces: 1–6 business days
For select low‑value items, Canada Post Lettermail may be used. Lettermail shipments do not include tracking.
Signature Required on All Shipments
All shipments sent by CompuPoint require a signature upon delivery. Packages are not left at the door.
If no one is available to sign:
- The carrier will leave a delivery notice
- The package will be held at the nearest pickup location
- The customer must pick up the package within the carrier’s holding period
If the package is not picked up and is returned to CompuPoint:
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- The customer is responsible for re‑shipping costs if the order is sent again
This policy ensures secure delivery and protects customers from lost or stolen packages.
Order Tracking
When your order ships, you will receive an automated email containing:
- Carrier name
- Tracking number (if applicable)
- Link to track your shipment
Please ensure your email address is accurate at checkout.
Lettermail shipments do not include tracking numbers.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes
Shipments to P.O. Box or rural route addresses are sent via Canada Post only.
Remote Region Shipping
Shipments to remote regions (including but not limited to Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Newfoundland) may require additional shipping charges.
If additional charges apply, CompuPoint will notify you before processing the order.
Shipment Damage Policy
CompuPoint uses secure packaging materials suitable for carrier transport. Once a package is accepted at delivery, the carrier assumes responsibility for any damage that may occur during transit.
Customers should inspect packages for visible damage before accepting delivery.
If damage is present:
- Refuse the shipment
- Notify the carrier immediately
If a damaged package is accepted, the customer must file a claim directly with the carrier.
Order Cancellation
CompuPoint reserves the right to cancel any order due to:
- Stock availability
- Order verification issues
- Incorrect or incomplete information
Customers will be notified if an order is cancelled.
CompuPoint ships to P.O. Box or RR addresses by Canada Post only. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
All orders to “but not limited to” Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Newfoundland will be assessed an additional shipping charge – contact us for a shipping quote or place your order and we will get back to you.
CompuPoint will not be responsible for damage during shipment. The customer must inspect the package for signs of tampering or physical damage before accepting delivery. Once the package is accepted, and there is damage to the product(s), the customer will be responsible for filing a claim with the carrier, and will be responsible for any charges that may occur in getting a replacement or refund, such as shipping costs. CompuPoint will provide necessary assistance as required.
